To ensure healthier lifestyles for individuals in the 45-plus age group, facility planners and leaders at East Jefferson General Hospital sought to create a state-of-the-art Wellness Center.  The two-level facility is a light-filled environment, with exterior views to landscaped courtyards and green spaces.  Components include: Cardiovascular Fitness Room with an overhead walking track and stretching area, multi-purpose exercise room, natatorium (featuring a warm water therapy pool, lap pool and garden whirlpool), fitness assessment room, wellness education classrooms, locker rooms and administrative offices. - Square Footage: 39,589
