The Superdome project involved demolition work, construction and renovations to 1.9 million sf of the New Orleans landmark. The projected construction cost was approximately $125,000,000.  Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects was part of a joint venture team, consisting of Trahan Architects of Baton Rouge and Billes Architecture of New Orleans.  Another valuable team member was Ellerbe Becket, a respected national design firm that is oversaw the project as a consultant. The project was completed in time for the first post-Katrina football event at the Superdome
in September, 2006.
